Is it true the link between moon phases and menstrual cycles is strong, particularly in conditions where women are not alienated from the waxing and waning moon due to the conveniences of modern life ie electric lights, roofs, indoor plumbing etc ? I wonder if that 28 day cycle continues on through the post-menopausal years, manifest not as behaviors related to the biology of reproduction, but something else. Perhaps waxing and waning productivity and creativity?
