The lymphatic system is a network of vessels, nodes, and organs that helps maintain the body's fluid balance (transport of lymph), immune defense, and waste removal. Unlike the circulatory system, the lymphatic system doesn’t have a central pump like the heart, its movement and elimination rely on muscle contractions, deep breathing, and the suppleness of surrounding fascia.
